    I would like to reauthor DVD discs created on my Grundig DVD recorder, to rebuild the menus and remove a few ads.

    I have a good PC with a DVD writer.

    Can anyone suggest me an approach to doing this keeping the quality of the footage and sound.

    I've done a search, but non of the results have a this particular scenario.

    ulead dvd moviefactory,ulead dvd workshop and tmpgenc dvd author(BEST ) can import dvds and you can also do some basic editing with them.

    can I also recreate the menu with any of these?...this would be most important as the Grundig recorder menu's are hideous!! :P
