  1. I have a MOV file that will open in Quicktime but nothing else.I downloaded TMPGE and tried to convert it over to DVD and all I get is "Illegal file".

    How does this work? Why is it so hard to do?

    I really don't want to go and buy a MAC which probally the easist thing to do.
    Windows suck.

    Install the TMPGEnc MOV Plugin and try again with TMPGEnc.

  3. Still gives me "illegal file" thing.

    Sorry for be ignorant, but I'm learning! Still pretty green at this stuff.

    You're sure you put the plugin in the TMPGEnc folder? If so, try using Mainconcept MPEG Encoder. If that gives you an error too there's not much else you can do. Make sure your installation of Quicktime is up to date.
