pansonic vs LG writer , less errors

among writers that write RAM ,
I understand that 2 writers I can look at
PAnasonic 9852 or LG 4082 '

1) have there been any problems or writing errors with mounting either of the 2 machines on a extrenal enclosure ?

a) I understand that the time of analysing , ripping, writing is only about 10% different whether it is an extrenal drive or internal writing drive


2) any disadvantages of panasonic 9852 that does not write R + ?

3) I seem to favour panasonic since it is the originator of RAM drives.

I know two magazines that did sophisticated CATS scans both rated the LG as one of the best in + and - media quality burns, don't know how it rates with RAM.
