Unless you need the printables, that's a bit steep. The Maxell 25 piece + or -R spindle was in this week's Futureshop flyer at $34.99. That's much less than the Riteks...

I'm guessing those are Canadian dollars so don't anybody reply with:

"You're getting ripped off you crazy canuck!"

I don't know the exchange rate but I bet you could find em cheaper online if the shipping is reasonable.

Shipping out of Toronto or Vancouver becomes unreasonable if it's to Winnipeg or environs....

I think blankmedia.ca is quite a bit cheaper, if you want Riteks.
Personally, I would buy the 25 PKS of Maxell -R at FutureShop for $34.99.
If they don't have any in store, they will put some on layaway for you.

  6. However, the futureshop sale are only 2x discs. I bought the riteks 4x from blankmedia instead for $35 though shipping is a bit high IMHO.

Does Canada put that "sin tax" on blanks like Sweden?

I don't know if this will do you much good, but I'm in Taiwan right now and I can get a pack of 50 Ritek G04s for $45 Canadian. I'll be coming back to Winnipeg begining of July. If you want I could pick you up a bunch for much less than you pay now and then you could pick them up from me. Just a thought. If your interested you can e-mail me at mikeintaiwan@hadmacker.com. Must be quick though as I'll be leaving in about 2 weeks.

my suggestion is to look for one site who could offer most aggressive service on shipping for you to ship to your area instead of looking for a store close by to you, because on line store price could be always cheaper! www.meritline.com , www.newegg.com , www.shop4tech.com , www.rima.com all carry Ritek product!
