I need to print alot of color copies on weekly basis (1000 to 1500). Does any 1 have any suggestions on the cheapest way to do this, as far as keeping the ink price down and reliability of printer. The quality has to be around average or better. Thanks![]()

I would buy the ink in bulk quantities and refill the cartridges myself. Cannot help with the printer, though. I have be refilling my Canon for months and haven't even considered upgrading with printing being as cheap for me as it is.

You should probably be looking at a laser printer for those quantities. It will be more expensive up front but the overall running costs and reliability will more than make up for it. Or why not outsource to a printing houes?

For that kind of volume either one of those wax transfer printers (expensive) or as was suggested color Laser.

Thanks for the help, Sounds like I should go with the laser , any 1 know a good one to buy. I heard hp was alright, and the toner? was inexpensive...

Well the toner will SEEM expensive, but you get alot of of 'em so it adds up. HP is pretty much the defacto laser printer at this point. You should be fine with them. Just remember after printing so many pages with a laser printer its also good to get a maitance kit for it also. Its a pretty big number of pages if I remember correct though.
