    I want to capture a picture of my movie to be used as a preview pic but when I capture it its just blank.. anyway so it wont be blank or do i like need to use some program to export a still frame?

  2. You could open it up with VirtualDub and find the frame you want, then press the "Print Screen" button to capture it. However, it won't be very big as it's a preview pane, but have a go and see if it's any good.

    you can do it with virtualdub , powerdvd , windvd , premiere , vegas, mediaplayer clasic and a few other programs

  4. open in virtual dub. find the frame you want. Go to Video menu. at the bottom choose the export frame to clipboard option. now just paste into your favorite photo editor.
