This may be slightly off topic but I cannot get the playback from Real Player or Windows Media Player to be playable through the S-Video output of the computer graphics card. I thought I finally had a way to burn these oddball video formats to a DVD through the input of my Panasonic E-50 and everything else on the computer screen is visible but the playback. It might not be possible but I thought I would check it out first. The reason I am trying this instead of converting the files (so far only possible with RMs) is that the quality stinks and the sound winds up out of synch after conversion.
Thanks

What video card are you using? Some cannot display the overlay field out to tv.. this overlay field is what is used to display TV, DVD, and most movie formats on a computer.
An easy way to tell if the overlay is the problem, is the area where the video is playing showing up as solid pink or green on the tv? -
My card is in a laptop and is a Radeon 340M. The color is not pink and I would not say green either unless it is very light. Assuming you are correct is there any way around it or should I try another computer; my other card is a Nvidia 5700 Ultra?
Thanks much.Still a few bugs in the system...
