  1. Hi everyone !
I have a folder of a DVD which contains VOB Files and the VIDEO_TS.IFO file , I created a MPG file using TMPGEnc DVD Author ( TDA ) and the size of that file is 4,32 GB ... Now I wanted to convert this MPG ( DVD ) File to SVCD using TMPGEnc Plus 2.521.58.169 , When I select the source file to load it and brouse for the Video File , it load the Video only but the sound not . I tried to brouse the same MPG file for the SOUND but error message appears and says : Can not open or unsupported ..

Now how can I load the both Video and Sound from this MPG file ?

And thanks for any help !

  2. 1)Convert DVD folder to ISO image with DVD Writing Tool from TMPGEnc DVD Author.
2)Load ISO image to virtual drive or burn to DVD
3)Extract MPEG2 file(video+audio) file with DVD Decrypter (Stream Processing)
4)Encode MPEG2 with TMPGEnc Plus to SVCD

  5. I mean The MPG file that TDA created from the VOB file . The Sound source of that file hasn't been loaded in TMPGEnc Plus , only the Video Source .

  7. use DVD2AVI to create a project. Load the 1st vob file ???_1.vob into DVD2AVI it will pull all vob file that belong. Make sure the audio is set to create a .WAV....got to FILE and save project. This will create a .d2v and a .wav file. load the .d2v into tmpgenc for the video source and the .wav for the audio source, then encode.

  8. Probable MPG file have AC3 sound, TMPGEnc Plus cannot read AC3 sound format.

Install AC3 Filter and open MPG file with GoldWave and save wav file.
