  1. So how do get rid of all those annoying things where you can't skip over and stuff. I'm pretty knew to this whole process and have only done a few with DVD shrink. Any help would be appreciated.

CloneDVD allows you to remove any part of the DVD you don't want. Title Set Blanker is a freeware program that deletes any part of the disk and will work with any compression program, though it's not as easy to use as CloneDVD.

  3. Is there anyway to do this with DVDShrink?

  4. Check the GUIDES and TOOLS section and do a forum search. This topic has been covered a ton before. The GUIDES cover this topic exactly.

  5. Can you point me to the right guides? I've seen some of DVDshrink, but they teach you how to keep everything or only take the movie, but don't teach you how to take out the warnings and screens.

  6. Reauthor.
    drag main title into window.
    click start-end
cutting stuff from the beginning of the movie and ending credits i assume you know how to do.
stuff in middle of movie...click start-end icon, start anywhere you want and end at the beginning point of the part you want to omit. click start-end icon again, start at the end of the part you want to omit and end at any point you want.
you can continue doing this for other parts of the movie you want to cut out.
Lastly, and the most important part...add back the entire movie with the start-end method. again this should be the last step in the reauthoring window.
This method is used in a slightly diffrent way that was original posted. read it here...
    http://www.dvdshrink.info/mixed-compressions.php good luck.
NOTE: after reading about the method again i don't think it will work in your case. it will work if you only want to get rid of stuff in the beginning and/or end, but not in the middle.
a long workaround would be to do this...
click start-end icon, start anywhere you want and end at the beginning point of the part you want to omit.
. back this up UNCOMPRESSED as a complete movie...save it in a folder like movie part A. then open shrink again drag the main movie again in the reauthoring window, start-end button and
start at the end of the part you want to omit and end at any point you want.
. back this up UNcompressed into folder movie part B.
Last open shrink one last time and combine the 2 parts into one, transcode if needed, and view your finished movie on your computer first. good luck.

  7. DVDRemake as well. Also lets you do some programming.

  8. DvdReMake is probabily the best tool for deciding on and easily removing content from a DVD. You can remove all or part of a cell. You can replace a warning cell with a picture of your toothbrush if desired.

You can add, delete or change menu buttons. You can also change DVD navigation via pre/post comands. Very powerful tool reasonably priced but not free.

If you think IFOedit is a unicycle on a tightrope over hell, then DvdReMake is quiet Sunday stoll in the park with an ice cream cone (your choice of flavors).

It is powerful but pretty easy to use. As you learn more about DVD command programming, you can do more with DvdReMake.

    AS Always, ymmv

  10. Titleset Blanker or DVDStripper, or just reauthor main movie in DVDShrink and ditch all extras.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!
