    Hi guys,
    I need help copying a dvd, it has some copy protection i cant figure out,
    Ive tried using dvdshrink and dvd decrypter but it keeps coming up with errors that the dvd is copy protected,
    the dvd is a backup not an original,
    please help,

    What kind of error exactly are you getting?

    Perhaps you could do a screen capture and post it here so we can see.

    Also try ripping with a DVD burner vs a DVD-ROM

    Use the DVD burner that made the DVD in question if that is possible.

    Was the backup done with DVD X copy?

    You should be able to just drag and drop the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders and not need to "rip" them...if it is a backup.
