  1. I was given finished m2v files by the client(who shall remain nameless for fear of embarrasment). They somehow got the feilds swapped so it's looking pretty bad.

Is there anyway to fix this? I don't need to convert these and I don't want to degrade the signal in any way. I just need another m2v file with proper blending.

  3. Thanks I'm messing with it right now trying to fix them. So far it doesn't seem to be correcting the problem but I'm just messing with the setting til I get it.

It may be too embedded. AT some point, a file can be beyond RESTREAM, but it normally fixes it. Swap the field order tab (check ot uncheck) and try a sample clip both ways.

I don't know why. I've seen it, and that all I can say.
I had to re-encode video once or twice from source because the field order was wrong twice, and apparently the error became embedded in the video.
