    Hello All;

    I'm not new to this site but I wasn't sure where to post this question. Lately I have been interested in downloading some of the latest tools available and at the point of saving the file I see that the file is saved with a .rar extension. After saving and then attempting to open it, my system does not recognize this extension. What additional files are neede to help with the installation of these programs?

    Thanks for you help

    7-Zip is a free program that will open them up as well.

    You can easily do a Google search for Winrar and it will take you to the homepage. No excuse for laziness.

    However, the homepage is www.rarlabs.com

  6. WinAce can open them also. Google for it, it works even after the 30 day trial is over, just a nag screen.

    7-Zip is completely free. No nag screens and the program does not expire.

  11. Well, there are each and every one of the numerous versions of dvdauthorGUI. Seems that I'm downloading an upgrade monthly, all in a nice .rar package. Other than that, don't think I'd need WinAce at all. :P
