    How do you create a DIVX file with AC3 sound? My method isn't working,at least I can't get them to play on my Philips DVP642. It plays DIVX with mp3 well. I'm muxing the ac3 to the DIVX video stream wuth AVI-Mux.

    Your method is fine. I suspect that your player doesn't support Divx with ac3 audio despite what the manufacturer might claim. You should contact support and let them know of this issue.

    My DVP-642 has successfully played DivX files with AC3 audio
