I'll not bite any more from you.
Nice to meet you.
Really.(this is a yellow emoticon, showing teeth, so it is a Japanish stereotype, so by using it I'm also offensive .)

whazzup,
I really appreciate what tekkieman has mentioned. I was a lurker as well. I hate to admit , even though I knew simple remedies to people's problems, I did not come forward on many an occasion to answer them. The plane jane reason being that I didnot want to make a fool out of myself. I have also noticed, the xxnumber of odd individuals out there who do nothin but post a wise ass comment after somebody's reply. To be honest, since it has discouraged me from answering, it probably has for some other people. Supposing, this trend propagates, we will have an xx gigs of forum to brag about that will be nothin but full of unanswered posts and a million ways of dissin somebody. This makes this forum quite useless; now does'nt it?
many very useful pieces of softwares have been written by non-english speakers eg: DVD2AVI and WinDV.. and so many guides too...
dissin people for spelling and such will give us braggin rights to 1 million ways of dissin .....desi ishtyle baby -

I was kindly asked to stop posting in this topic, by one of my friend moderators, so I stop it here, because it turned wild. Sorry about that. The fasist / rasist / stereotype user called SatStorm, had left the building (the treat actually )

7 pages of ******** dissin' ********. A record.
Rednecks who can't string two coherent words together criticizing a non-English speaker for not speaking "Redneck"
********, in general .
Cheers,
George
edited for spelling, can't see the blank keys, have to guess.
Still had a misspell, AFTER a correction. Go figure.

Now everyone must agree that if an ******* such as Sacajaweeda has chimed in with such a succint, and really, really intelligent, suggestion, this thread shold be locked.
He/she is so brilliant! I could never have thought to respond in the way he/she did.
"You are all stupid shits", as he/she says.
Knock it off.
Who the hell do you think you are anyhow, the ******* from the other thread, what's his face, the jerk?
Cheers,
George
edited to put quotes around "You are all such stupid shits", so that Northcat might be apprised as to the meaning. Read the context. -

We are just having some fun although I stayed WAY away from that whole thing with SatStorm ... I saw no problem with anything he said. Well I feel like getting into trouble, let's see if this will make it page 8
edit, nope still only page 7Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
I've got a few more, but none as good as the teletubbies! Now if that was only an animated picture with them dancing or something stupid like that.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
Holy Cow...I decided to stay out of this thread early on but have 4 things to say...
#1 Newbies - you need not fear posting, for fear of anything other than giving wrong information. It happens, everyone was a newbie at some point and everyone is still a newbie at something. Just don't have an attitude about it when it gets pointed out. Contrary to popular belief everything is not learned by reading, some things are learned best by participation.
#2 - 99% of the time when someone gets offended, the problem is not with what was said...the problem is with HOW it was said. Which makes me wonder how some people hold down jobs being so sensative and fragile when confronted with some critisizm or dare I say....wrong.
#3 Gmatov - thanks for being the policeman and reminding all of us how immature we all are, how you are so great and wise and we are all such big losers and ********. Your ability to point out the obvious is stunning. I find it funny that you are always so offended but yet you read the posts and respond anyway.
#4 Village Idiot....Great Pic....did you do it? -

I would have to hunt to see if you have ever made any kind of sense.
Ditto jaxxboss; Great oneliner. "I farted" And then to explain that it means "I am tired of this thread."
Hey, if you're tired of it, go to another. Most of us, at least ME in particular, could not give a "fart" less whether you are tired of something.
God damn, ain't it a shame SatStorm is in the 80+ % of the population that is not a native English speaker. Maybe he would be taken more seriously if he were. Just because he learns a second language well enough to participate in such an overwhelmingly English speaking forum, since he makes an occassional spelling or grammar error ( the guy who spells it "grammer", above, might take heed, here), everything he says should be suspect, right?
The cop on the board? If you ever see me post such picayune shit as a bunch of you post to "Report....", you'll see the last of me.
What a bunch of moderator wannabes there are in that thread. Do you think Baldrick pays a bounty for nailing these "perps"? Some of you act like either he does, or you'll get some brownie points to use when and if he needs another.
And, let's face it, for a predominantly college aged, presumably college attending, mob, you guys have atrocious diction, spelling, manners, anything else you can mention. And, since you are here, on the board, in front of a computer, it can't be that you are all jocks on scholarship to play and get into the pros without having to suffer finals.
ie, taking up a valuable seat in a classroom that should have gone to someone who could make something of an education.
Losers? I might have mentioned that as a reference to a previous post. But, yes, I think there are a few here. Jerks, also. And dipshits also comes to mind.
Ah, well, guess we just have to put up with some jerks, a fact of life.
Cheers,
George
BTW, go check out the thread that Will Hay ranted about those wannabes in, and got locked. My sentiments, exactly.
edit: inserted "error" after grammar reference, above. Elsewise, STET. -
