  1. heres what i want to do..

    transfer a toon from my vcr, to my camcorder. via the a/v cables.

    how can i do this?

    dell dimension 2350

    camcorder:

    sony handycam
    digital 8
    trv/dcr260

    auidio video cables for the hook up.

    anything else?

    Plug the supplied A/V cable into the A/V jack on the camcorder (between the Svideo and DV in/out Jacks), and the other end into the output RCA jacks on your VCR.

    Set the power on the camcorder to VCR.

    Play your tape and press Record on the camcorder when its time.

    If you want to transfer to your PC, you will need additional hardware ( capture card or firewire card).

  5. well tried that and it didnt work.

    I can get the vcr to record from the camcorder but not vice versa

  6. You have to set your camcorder to vtr not camera mode
    I believe, and you use the controls on the playback/record bar/button.
