Greetings.
I've searched around in the forum and have read about monitor and TV not having the same brightness and contrast, etc.
The thing is, why is it that when I convert a video and increase it's brightness and contrast in VirtualDub it still plays dark on my computer even though I have my monitor's brightness and contrast in a high setting.
For playing the videos I use media player classic or windows media player and both play the vids dark. The codec used for conversion is Divx 5.11 Pro.
I just want to play the vids on my computer not on TV. My video card is an Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 and monitor is a Hyundai DeluxScan S770.
Thank you.
