Hey i was having problems backing up o brother where art though using dvd shrink. I tried a few times and whenever it was ready to burn it said there was not enough space on the disk. These disks were memorex dvd+r's (taiwan ) So i tried with several of these disks, and it never worked, then i tried with some crappy no name dvd-r's i had lying around its burning fine now.........see how it finishes. First time ive had this problem..
any ideas why this is so?

you can burn a slight more amount of data on a dvd-r than you can on a dvd+r.. the difference is really insignifcant as far as video quality is concerned,, but in cases like yours, it does matter.

yeah the dvd-r worked
however i mean i just find it weird that dvd shrink would do that. First time its happened -
hmm actually it says burn process failed.
but it plays fine on my dvd-roms. Just no menu.
