I have several xvid avi's to join together (they were given to me like this), now I now VirtualDub with it's Append Avi segment or avijoiner can join all these gether but the problem I am having is each avi is encoed at slightly dfferent framerates( I have no idea why this was done?) i.e 29.03 ->29.9, is there any way to join these together quickly, rather tahn reencode all of them(I used Uleads Video Studio, ETA was like 6 hours! for a 45min episode)
Any help would be welcom(tried a forum search, hopefully this is not already covered)

Load each into virtualdub separately, re-encode the same. (Video, Framerate) Takes about 8 min for 1 hour of video.
Once you have the 3 segments the same, then join.Cheers, Jim
