Guys i have an 850 bitrate xvid thats 700 meg i want slap it on a dvd in dvd format but i hate how DVD2SVCD always tests a little bit of the video like 15 different times before finally encoding can i just select bitrate max as 2200 and min as 2000 and make the thing encode only once the whole file without testing ie wasting time ? and why does it give me some strange CCE warning is there a danger with forcing bitrate ?
cheers

I did with a one minute section ripped from Vdub and everything sinced well and looked nice i just dont wanna wast 2 hours of a bad recode.
Im trying at 4000 max and 3850 max avg (142 min vid)
the source is only 850 bitrate so im wasting space the qual wont improve but its the only thing going on the dvd so it doesnt matter.
Here hoping -
Don't even think about any relation between source bps and destination bps when encoding. They have nothing to do with eachother.
