Alright, here's the deal..
I've been using MainConcept to encode my AVIs lately and it has been wonderful. I had tried TMPEGEnc but with no success. So, I came across a problem just recently when it comes to MainConcept.
I have an AVI file with a seperate subtitles file. I want to add the subtitles in to the final encode. So, I do the usual of setting up VirtualDub to frameserve the AVI for me and then use MainConcept to encode.
Here's the problem. The MPEG that is produced is solid green. It shows nothing but a solid green color.
I've tried things like:
A) Setting the priority of the import modules higher Example: Set AVI Import Module to highest priority, over DirectShow Import module.
B) Uninstalling Divx, then reinstalling. Got rid of Xvid then got the latest one and tried it. Nothing.
C) Even tried changing the name of a file in the MainConcept directory that someone suggested on the MainConcept forums. Nothing.
D) Uninstalled AviSynth. Nothing. (Yet another suggestion from the MainConcept forums for someone else who had the problem)
I have no idea what is causing this. Is this a problem encountered before(I know it is because I read a post or two about it in searching around the forums) and if so how is it fixed? Any encoding gurus, or anyone who knows how to fix this .. PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!
Thanks in advance,
TypicalJeff
