  1. I am attempting to author a DVD with a file from my ReplayTV that is 7.4GB (The Ten Commandments - that's one long movie). The only DVD authoring program I have is CaptyDVD which reports the file is too big when I try to use it. My thought was to author the DVD, then use DVD2ONEX to shrink it down to one DVD.

Is there a native Mac program that can author DVDs with mpeg files this large? I am guessing that DVDSP can handle it, but I don't own a copy of it.

Or, could I divide the mpeg into two mpeg files and make two DVDs. Can QTPro split the file?

Try Sizzle 0.1 after demuxing the mpeg, and create a disc image.

you can author it with sizzle, then back it down with dvd2one.

or you can split it and do 2 author processes with sizzle, then burn each one

    choice is yours
