Rip to hard drive first with DVD Decrypter then open with DVD Shrink. I'd use a DVD Rom for ripping and just use your burner for burning.

I've never, ever, EVER herd of Sink not being able to rip a DVD.
What method are you following, what guide?

Hi Will,
I've used Shrink many times with my sony writer but this problem always happens with my girlfriends new 107D. I couldn't believe it myself when it happened. Have pioneer had to add some kind of protection to stop originals from being backed up?
