Need Help on VCD burning!

I want to back up my X-men revolution dvd. When I use that program called "DVD2SVCD" or "DVD2VCD"...........my program Nero 6.0 can't burn it....

The movie is encoded to svcd and the movie is also .mpg......

When I load the movie, the common says on Nero, "error while encoding". I tried VCD/SVCD on nero and it tells me to encode.

How do I reconvert or what program should I use so that I can burn it?

I already use TMPGENC and it doesn't support it.

Nero 6 will not rip a DVD. Use DVDx2.2. It's simple to use. Will take about 3 hrs depending on your PC speed. After that you will need the Nero SVCD plug in to burn the SVCD. Nero 6 will let you burn VCD but you will need a plugin for SVCD. So you might want to make a VCD. It won't be as good but you can fit more on a CD-r.
