    I have a radeon ultra 64mb. I used to be able to capture with virtual dub fine, but now the audio is all messed up. it records off my mic instead of off the audio from the tape. i'm sure it's not the cords because my captures work fine with my ati software. any help?

    ps. I dont' use ati capture software because tmpgenc doesn't support mp2 format.

    Double click the speaker in the system tray, options>properties.. choose recording, make sure the auxillary or Line-in i ticked (depending on what your VCR's connected to)

    Still no luck. I have my vcr plugged into my soundcard. When I record, virtual dub only picks up the sound the mic makes.
