  1. I heard from a friend that you can watch the videos of your pc in your dvd players, so I have been using tmpgenc to change the codec of my movies so I can then watch them on my dvd, the thing is, what steps should I take or what do I need to select to burn a movie into a cd using nero burning rom and then be able to watch them on a dvd that is mp3 enabled????

    Thank you in advanced, LucasIga

  2. I'm afraid I don't know quite what the question is!

I assume that you have a DivX or an AVI of some sort on your PC, that you want to convert to DVD or VCD.

    To convert it to DVD:

To convert to VCD or SVCD:

There are lots of guides in the green section on the left-hand side of the screen that can help you with whatever you want to do.

As far as burning them goes, try VCDEasy (as detailed in the VCD guide) for burning them, or creating an image that Nero can burn. For burning DVDs, you can use TMPGEnc DVD Author to make a DVD image that is Nero-burnable. Here are the guides to authoring:

Hope this helps, and please try to be clear if you're posting again!
