What does IfoEdit ReCreate Mpeg2 cffl do? Does it re-encode? or do something else?

    Thanks!

Its not reCreate mpeg2 cffl, its create ReMpeg2.cffl. ReMpeg is a transcoder. I assume the .cffl file is something that is used in conjunction with it.

For more information on transcoding do a forum search, but basically its similar to programs like Instant Copy or DVD Shrink. ReMpeg was just one of the first (probably the first) transcoder widely used for DVD backup. Its pretty much outdated now as far as I know.

so what your're saying is that this option is for a second rate encoder? I say second rate because it seems this is the implication. True?

    Thanks for info!

Nobody said anything about ratings - it's for ReMpeg.
    You can rate it yourself
