  1. hi all i have a divx file with VBR audio the problem is when i split the file into 2 parts the first is ok the second part the audio is out of sync ive used goldwave then put it back to encode with TMPGEnc but it is still out by about 10 seconds can anyone help

    You need to save as wav from the uncut avi, not the split parts.

  3. Perhaps you can use the Source Range feature in Tmpgenc to split the files. In that way, you should not encounter any sync problems.

  4. hi i did split it with TMPGEnc ok but when i play it back before i burn it i have no sound at all any ideas?

    While it was encoding, did you see the wav file selected in the audio source box? Also, how did you end up extracting the wav?

  6. hi teegee all i can say is that the audio did go in the audio under the video section in TMPGEnc whether it is wav i dont no because i just put the completed film i downloaded straight into TMPGEnc like kyemeng said with no audio on both parts?

    Open the avi with Virtualdub, go to the audio menu and select full processing mode, go to file and select save wav, then use the wav file as the audio source in TMPGEnc. You never said what kind of audio compression your file has but if it's ac3, you'll need to install the AC3 ACM Decompressor before running Virtualdub.
