Using smart ripper, I extracted the vod files off the disk, loaded DVD2AVI and rather than saving project , clicked on save AVI, set the DivX codex,
The problems is the time remaing say 24hours or longer, processing 3.5 frames per second.
Is this normal, I have a 1Ghz Processer, 256Mb ram, Windows2000.
Am I doing this right, am I using the correct product to do this.

I have a similar setup and I get about 12-15fps when encoding from a VOB to DivX.
