Hi, guys:
I have a problem with Windows XP. Whenever I stick a CD into a drive, it keeps spinning the drive till it IDs all the files. In the meantime I cannot do anything but wait. A very frustrating experience, especially if you just want to copy one small file.
Windows 98 on my other computer is much better with this regard, it only IDs folders, displays them and stops the drive.
Is there a setting somewhere which I can use to end my frustration with XP?
Thx walter
Thanks to Tommyknocker who replied to my post in Newbie section. I did not put a thank-you note tthere, as it would bump the post with no new input.
