I know this is a classic, and I've been looking through the archives but can find nothing that fits my problem. Soooo, I was given a bunch of vcds and figured to put them all on a dvd using sizzle. Everything is peachy keen, except for one single mpg movie that's driving me bonkers. The vcd plays fine, but when I try and author it in sizzle it goes more and more out of sync as the movie progresses. What's so puzzling is that it's identical to all the other mpgs that play fine in sizzle. I've tried everything I can think of, demuxing and then remuxing in ffmpeg, in MMMT, and just plopping the mpeg into sizzle without doing any kind of conversion at all. But it seems there is something in the way sizzle muxes and authors that makes the audio go out of sync. I also as an experiment muxed in ffmpeg and MMMT (just to see what would happen) then viewed the resulting mpeg in vlc, same audio sync problem. I know this is terribly vague, but if anybody has some suggestions/tips I'd be eternally grateful. As I said, what's so puzzling is that all the others work fine, and they're identical.

did you author the vcd's youself?

Nope!
A friend sent them to me. But I've checked the specs as best I can and there seems to be no difference between them.
