I have a dvd that I bought and I'm trying to back it up. I have dvdshrink, but in the re-author part there are lots of files. Some of the title files are copy's of each other. Each of the files are 1GB except for the last one which is a bit smaller, but they seem to be exactly the same clip. Here is an example of what it says:
Title 5
Title 5 (continued)
Title 5 (continued)
Title 6
All of these are the same. There are 5 more on the DVD that do the same thing. How do I know which one to backup? When I play the dvd itself, there is only 1 clip (it seems that each clip has 4 titles). Is there another program that is simpler?

Thats happened to me a few times actually in a reauthor. But those are usually movie extras and so on..... I make full disk back up's unless gig space turns out to be a major issue.
Anyway, as far as simplictiy is concerned.... Coupled w/ Nero, I don't think it can get any easier than that my friend. Perhaps some store bought software could be "easier" but I like DVDShrink and it is FREEEven a fool can be wise, all he has to do is keep his mouth shut -
One of the episodes on my dvd has commentary. I ripped all the episode titles but none had the commentary. How can I get the file with it?

If you want to only back-up the "MAIN MOVIE", Drag title 1(largest file)from the left pane to right pane,in re-author mode.
I came I saw I conquered.........
