LiteON Speedhacked Firmware Updates

G'day all,

For those of you who don't know, I have created some custom-speedhacked firmware for the LiteON DVD writers. These modified firmware versions offer 8x DVD+R writing to all 4x DVD+Rs and more speed options for DVD-R writing. In the latest updates, RICOHJPNR00 and MCC001 DVD+R media can be written at 4x, 6x, and 8x as well as the standard 2.4x.

The custom-speedhacked firmware releases are available for the following LiteON drives: LDW-401S/411S/811S/451S/851S/SOHW-812S.

LDW-401S/411S/451S owners will be able to upgrade their drives to an LDW-811S or LDW-851S. LDW-401S/411S owners will need to zebraMod their drives before applying this firmware.

G'day all,

All speedhacked firmware has been updated so that they will allow MCC00RG200, RITEKG03, and MXLRG01 DVD-R media to write at 1x, 2x, and 4x.
