  1. i tryed converting a movie last nihgt picked the movie, picked "system (audio & video) picked the right file for the frames per sec. then i clicked start did the hole movie, then it was done i played the movie in the new *.mpg format and when it open up it said the movie was like 4 and a half hours longand there was NO sound but it plays the movie after the movie it was just a black screen for like 2 and a half hours? can anyone please tell me what i am doing wrong. and why there is no sound?? PLEASE

  2. can u pleas give us more info to help u out better like what was the original file avi,mov and what was ur audio sorce and what software u use to play the mpeg file like that ok i have some guesses try another player or rencode the file to mpeg and multiplex the audio and the mpeg file with bbmpeg the audio must be a mpeg-layer 2 audio file ok

  3. sorry pinoy2201 this is the first time i have tryed to convert an avi to mpg and it didnt turn out to good. the original file was a *.avi and i wanted it to be a *.mpg so that i could burn and watch it in the dvd player, the audio source was in the movie do i have to convert it different? i used windows media player to play it back, what do you mena by multiplex the audio? and audio must be a mpeg-layer 2 audio file? is the audio in the movie not good enough? how come when the movie was done it said it was like 4 and a half hours long the first half was the movie and the second half was just blank, and the .mpg its self at the end was like almost 3 gigs???? thanks for your help pinoy2201

  4. try rencode it again with TMPGEnc or panasonic mpeg encoder
    and can u tell me what version if TMPGEnc u are useing
