    I just got the drive (OEM) and fairly new to dvd burners.

    I'm sure I haven't installed something and what not.
    I did install the "MPEG-2 Codec" which recognized the DVD as to play it on 'windows media player', but the player says there is no 'compatible decoder' installed.

    Do I also have to install a driver for the drive. Is there even one offered anywhere for this drive.

    Anyway, thanks for any help I can get.

    You shouldn't reuire any additional drivers windows should recognize your drive.
    You probably need a better DVD player software like WinDVD or PowerDVD
