  1. hi all, im new to this dvdr stuff ive looked through all the forums and the authoring and just need to ask as im an ole cdr person not dvdr as i just brought a dvd burner the other month, what speed should i burn dvd to dvd-r at or is it best to put it onto the hard drive and then burn using ulead or nero. Getting to many coasters lately using riteks and datarights.
Also getting freeze frames and lots of pixelisation the original is fine. Im using a sony dvd burner and am currently burning at 4x any advice would be greatly appreciated

Have you read thru some of the guides on this site? If not you should. They can answer many questions for you. As far as your problem. The first thing I would try is lowering your write speed to 2X and see if it makes a difference. It helps me at times.
