  1. I have a couple of AVI files that have small differences in the audio, one is 14451, the other 14452. VirtualDUB wont join them, anything I can do or another package I could use.

    you could accomplish it with just VDub.

    open the 1st avi with VDub. Then in File>save wave....you could save a wave file of the audio.

    Then select No Audio for audio compression and Direct stream copy for video and you can then copy just the avi video. Ten use VDub to select the new video and then under audio select the wave file. Then choose direct stream copy for the video, and convert the audio to something like mp3 or whatever you want.

    Then do the same process for the 2nd avi file, wherein you convert the audio to the same parameters of the 1st.

    then you can append using VDub, although I have found that VDub's append function sometimes introduces audio sync problems.
