There are many great old war movies on DVD that are not available here in the us, but over in the UK (Region2). Is it possible to do this. I hook
up with someone who backups DVD in the UK and makes copies for me
with DVD Decryptor, DVD2ONE (or DVD Shrink) and be able to play them on my standalone sony DVD Player? I also heard IFOedit has button
Delete Region (or something like that) and gets rid of the different regions
it has encoded with.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anybody from the UK willing to help me out. Alot of the internet rental places have these movies, etc.
Some of the movies are Dam Busters, 49th parallel, Above Us the waves, and many more.
Thanks, hl

OK I'm not living in UK so I can't help you about that. DVD decrypter will remove all region codes but if your Sony DVD player supports DVD-r and +r is something else (will probably do if not too old)

There is a difference between making a DVD "Region Free" and converting it from PAL to NTSC...the resolutions are different. You may have a DVD player that will do this I don't knw, but if not then you will need to convert these from PAL to NTSC which can take a while.
