divx movie & debugger

i have downloaded a file that i have run through gspot. It tells me that i have all the correct codecs installed and that it should play no problems. However, when i open divx 5.1.1 i get an error message

'Debugger detected'. Win NT users: note that having winice/softice service installed means you are running a debugger.

Now i never had any of these problems when running the old divx player, and certainly not ever seen a message about a winice/softice. Ive tried all over the place to find out how to disable these programs but have had no luck. Anyone had the same problems and has anyone found a way round it.

Will it mean that i cant use the 5.1.1 player ?

You're using DivX 5.1. The issue you have mentioned is a bug in that program
(the codec). You can uninstall and revert to 5.05 or upgrade to 5.1.1, and you
will no longer have this problem. I hope this information is helpful for you.
