I am so glad you bought Vegas. It is one of the easiest most stable, most INTUITIVE software editors around.

I have premier, you can keep it and its ancient sanskrit interface.

I have every Ulead product. Too bad they don't always work or give any level of professional expertise.

Few years back I started with Video Factory ( which is what screenblast is now) and eventually moved up to Vegas ...WOW. I can do some awesome things.

BTW ..If you want to see a short music video , check out my site

www.arctechvideo.com and click on the demo tab

Later and good luck..If you ever have Vegas questions, feel free to email

  4. Okay, so now that's I've got the hardware and software, I need suggestions on a analog capture card, one that's obviously compatible with Vegas 4.0

    Any recommendations would be great!

You would need to specify what d'you want to do: miniDV, TV capture, VHS, DVD production (what sources), what your material is gonna be like etc. etc.
In short what your footage sources are going to be (mainly) and how would you want to use your analog card (ideally).

  6. I think I just need it to have RCA inputs. I'll essentiallly be capturing video from a VCR and just need it to be compatibile with Vegas 4.0.
