I am putting together a large PowerPoint presentation on a dvd.
I want to add some voice over audio to both slides and video clips.
I am having a problem capturing any audio that is clear and lifelike with my cheap recorder mic. and the XP recorder software.
Is it possible to use my Sony DV camera somehow to get some good audio then demux it to a file for PowerPoint.
Actually what I am asking is if using the camera is a logical method or do I need to get better recording equipment and use some other method then the computer recorded?
    Thanks
    P.S.
I know this isnt video but I have gotten so much good info. from this forum I though someone might have done this.

You can get a good microphone for your sound card but the sound card mike-in could be crappy to begin with so a good quality sound card such as sound blaster live or higher if you dont have a good sound card, also check in control panel/sounds and audio devices if the mike level is set high enough and microphone boost is checked.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
