Hey, i recently bought a portable dvd player. I have been unable to open it cause im currently a bit busy, but i have a question. I usually burn my dvd's with 4:3 view, but the dvd player says 16:9. I use 4:3 because thats the auto set on TMPGenc and my home dvd players works fine with it. Here are my 2 questions: What will happen when i play my dvds with are 4:3 on the 16:9 portable 7 inch dvd player? I now have began to burn 16:9 and noticed that they are bit squished so under video arange method in tmgenc i make it center (custom) size and choose my own size so that it looks fine, but the aspect ratio is still on 16:9 will this affect anything?
Any light on these topics would be greatly appreciated

Look for guides on creating Anamorphic DVDs. You shouldn't have to make it look right using "center-custom size", but you will still use this video arrange method for Anamorphic video. (it will look squeezed, as in tall and skinny)
Happy to be here. -

It will probably put black bars to the right and the left of the actual picture. As long as you use 720x480 as your maximum resolution, they should play on any player.Originally Posted by melovecompICBM target coordinates:
