MemoriesOnTv.com 2.1.4 DVD slideshow program now automatically change the slides and video to show correctly on a 16x9 screen. It does this by cropping the top and bottom of the photo out of the picture. In most photos the top and bottom of a photo contain unimportant information; it’s not a big deal to crop it out. I redid a recent 4x3 slideshow and found that when it was changed to 16x9 the loss of top 1/6 and bottom 1/6 picture information was unnoticeable.
This is a very nice feature and I’m going back to convert all of my previous 4x3 slide shows to 16:9.
How to Edit your photos for 16:9 Using MemoriesOnTV:
1. Add your photos and videos.
2. Go to ‘Burn’ select ‘Advanced Settings’
3. Select ‘Wide screen (16:9) and then click ‘OK’
4. Go back to ‘Import’
5. Double click on the 1st slide and checkmark ‘Show TV Safe Region’
6. Click on ‘Crop/Pan’ and move the slider right and left to see the safe region move.
7. Move your mouse up to the photo and right click on your mouse to move the safe region around to select the crop you want for 16x9 cropping.
8. If you want to pan you can also use the "Show TV Safe Region'
