Familiarity with Dreamweaver software?

I am trying to make a website and I am using Dreamweaver to do it. Anyways, it seems very complicated and I don't have a lot of expertise in this area.

I was wondering if any of you could either refer me to instructions on how to effectively move stuff around at will and creat text boxes, etc. I have read the tutorials and things, but they do not say anything about letting me move photos and text around at will.

I have made websites on geocities.com and stuff but this is wayyy more advanced. There has to be a simpler way to move stuff around on the layout.

If you really want to learn how to use Dreamweaver, a good beginners book would be DREAMWEARVER MX for Dummies, thats why I bought and think its helped out quite a bit.
