  1. I am using DVD Rebuilder 0.31, and CCE SP 2.67

two problems, it creates a project with like 30 different items to encode, all very short, takes only a few seconds to encode each...

after it's done encoding(well, whatever the hell it actually encoded), and I go to reauthor, I get

    "run-time error '75':
    Path/File access error"

    anyone kno what's going on?

  2. It is highly recommended that you post at Doom9's forum which is home to DVD Rebuilder. Here's the appropriate thread for you to post in.
DVD Rebuilder (One-Click Beta) Bug Reports - v0.30+

In fact, do a search. Someone probably posted a similar problem like yours over there.

  4. I also have to wait 5 days... However my problem is that I want to "convert" movies from 2.35 to 1.77..

About your problem, is CCE starting up at all? I'm using 0,31 and SP2.50.
If you choose to do it step by step instead of "one click" mode. When do you get your error msg?

  5. I've actually fixed the problem. I wasn't using ECL...

The file/path access error... it seems that rebuilder wants write access to the source directory, so I just moved all the files from the iso to a folder on the hard drive, and it now works like a charm.

I can hardly wait till he enables support for multi angle and interleaving...

what is VBR Bias and Quality precision? I've never messed with those settings before...

^^I too would like to know about these settings?

The bias setting is by default 30 and the lower the value, the more variable the encoding bitrate.. From what I have seen so far, 20 is the lowest that you should consider using.

As for the Prec. Quality - I haven't got a clue about that.

Any help explaining what to use, and which is "best" would be grate?

I plan on using 3 pass VBR.

Does each pass double the time?

  7. each pass takes about the same amount of time...

so if 1 pass takes 5 minutes

    2 pass = 10 minutes
    3 pass = 15 minutes

    and so on.

  8. i really dont know about bias, but about the precision quality as far as i know, lower values are for action movies or with lot of motion, but increase the edge noise around objects ( like flying mosquitos). I dont the cons for higher values.
    I hope this help.
