Please can anyone advice me on how to improve the sound quality of my ripped DivX movies.
I've ripped two movies so far and the sound that comes out are just so soft that I have to turn my volume up to almost three quarters in order to hear any sound.
I am using Dr DivX to rip my movies.
Any suggestions will be greatly apperciated!

What do you mean by "ripped"? It usuall means taking a movie directly from a DVD.
If you downloaded it from the Internet, then you did just that. Anyway, see if you can extract the audio from the movie with Virtual Dub mod. Then use Gold Wave to increase the volume. Save the audio file under a new file name, then use Virtual Dub again to add it back to the DivX file, and save it under a new file name.Hello.
