I swear I have heard it called a boom mic. But I google searched it, and I didn't get anything that looks like that. I am looking for this type of mic. If anybody could come up with a name for it that would be cool. I think they are usually used for movies, sometimes in low budget productions you see them bob down on the top of the screen. Any help is appriciated. Pardon my bad drawing skills.

Shotgun microphone and a fishpole mount, often with a shock absorbing mount that the mic sits in at the end of the pole.
Gitzo makes a few models of pole, and mics from Sennheiser, Sony, AudioTechnica, and maybe Shure. Just check at B&H.
edit:
The mic looks very big because of the windscreen that is covering it.
Also you get what you pay for, so pay a LOT!Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
I have heard that Sennheiser makes good microphones. But even thier cheapest shotgun, ME66, is out of my price range. I guess i am looking for something that is around 80-100 dollers. I don't need great sound. Just something better than my camcorder mic.
Thanks a bundle on the names. I am going to do some shopping. If anybody has any suggestions about good, cheap, mics, I would appriciate it.
Thanks. -

But they would be better than my camcorder mic. Or would the type thing like. Yeah, it would be better, but not better enough to waste money on.

Depends on your camcorder mic, but most likely not much better. May not be enough to be worth the price.
These are the cheapest I would suggest:

You also need to consider how it connects to you camera, if you don't have an XLR connector, then your quality will be limited, or you will need to use an adaptor and suffer lesser performance.
edit:
I would say the Sennheiser 66 would be good, but after you get the mic and K6/K6P powersupply, it gets a bit more expensive.Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better...
