I had this problem on my old computer as well, but I figured I messed something up.
I just got a new computer last week so I thought I'd try again. Sooo...
I just ripped a vob file off of my DVD. I just went to Womble's site and had them e-mail me the link for the program and the trial license number. I just installed the program, put the license number in, and tried to open up the vob file.
It opens up the first 28-29 seconds and then the last second or so of the file. So I get about 30-31 seconds. I can watch the file just fine in PowerDVD and VirtualDub.
Any ideas? I'm sure it's something silly I'm missing, but it's driving me crazy.![]()

The file is corrupt.

Is there anything I can do to make it... un-corrupt? Besides re-ripping it which just results in the same thing?

Well, either DVDDecrypter is ripping it weird, or I have some setting wrong
but either way it seems to be working if I rip the files with DVDShrink, which I was checking out because I saw someone say it could open up files that Womble couldn't.
So I can get them from DVDShrink and then open them up in mpeg-vcr, I suppose. Just as long as it works.
