  1. Ok, I have had Xvid videos before, and never had a problem playing them...well I um, I have some home videos from a friend that are Xvid, and the only program that plays them without all the green junk is VirtualDub, and I cant really turn them into VCD or DVD material through that. So does anyone know a way around this. I tried to code it in Tmpegnce or how ever you spell it, I tried coding it in that and all I get it video.

I have a 2.4 GHz, P4, 512 DDR 400MHZ....I mention that cause most people ask for specs....thanks for any info

Why not? Just use VirtualDub as a frame server and encode. I always run my AVIs thru VirtualDub, and let VDub do the resizing and stuff, before letting it on to the encoder.

  5. Thanks for the tips. I went and looked for the newest Xvid codec and installed it, and now everything runs fine. So once again Dvdrhelp.com saves the day....one of these days when I'm not so broke i have to remember to donate some money to this site
