unfortunately, you don't need to be married to have children, or i would support your idea. i think (hope will is not reading in case it upsets him, that's not my intention though!!) that all girls should have their fallopian tubes clipped at birth, and only once they have enough money and a stable partner should they be allowed to conceive.

but there again i also believe everyone should have a dna smaple taken at birth and placed in an international register so people at the scene of a crime can be identified whether they are previous offenders or not.

i think there would be a way to make it secure, somehow turn each pattern into a series of digits and store on a DB. DB is only searchable with the complete series of digits, so you'd need a complete match for any result to come up.

Yes, I realize that, and I was debating whether or not to put that qualifier into my original post. However, I was simply referring to marijuana itself, the chemicals in it. You can sit there all day and smoke a pound of cheeba and live to tell your friends about it. However, you can sit in 1 room and take shot after shot of whiskey only to be pronounced dead some time later. That's what I was referring to. I know the consequences of both can have dire effects.

If you don't like what your friends do, don't be friends with them. and just because they take drugs, doesn't make them a druggie. at my last work place i got on very well with a guy who was very clever and funny, yet openly admitted to taking all kind of substances on the weekend.

there's a difference chilling out with some mates and a joint, and living in a squat, stealing money for more pot, and finishing every sentance "yeah yeah yeah, cool cool cool."

Fair enough (I will keep my opinions on such items to myself), but to the same extent....what is wrong with someone NOT liking weed (the consumption of alcohol or the viewing of ADULT material by minors) or those that use it?

Most of you condemn or 'semi-flame' a person for making a statement condemning the use of weed, drinking, or porn (mind you he mentioned it was being done by minors, with the aid of a ‘parent’ in at least one case), all while professing your love for such things….all of you whom I assume are of ‘age’ to do so. At least here in the U.S. it is still illegal to posses or consume weed unless under medical recommendation, you still have to be 21 to drink and purchase alcohol, and you can be charged and fined or even jailed for providing a minor with adult material.

I guess what I am getting at; why bash on someone for stating that he thinks children doing these things is wrong and harmful? You expect an open mind, but provide nothing but grief for anyone who differs from yourself.

I am just glad that he had at least some sense in him, since a drug conviction at any age will make your life harder, drinking at such a young age does nothing but harm to your body in any amount and the repeated viewing of adult material helps in the perpatration of viewing women(or men, if you are into that)as nothing but objects.....I have to deal with such cases everyday, and the regret they feel is so evident in their faces when I talk to them.

Just something to think about.


Oh, and I personally endorse the removal of ALL warning labels on ALL products. Just to whittle it down a little.

I think most of aren't condeming him for caring about his friends, but rather defending ourselves against the remark he made that us "Adults" are to blame. People can do whatever they want to their own bodies, I just think it's shitty that people blame others for their problems. Gooberguy blaming adults for his friends weed problem (Or delightful sin), is the same as that fat chick who blamed McDicks for making her fat.
