Just got my first DVD burner with Toast Titanium using a Mac Aluminum Powerbook. Tried to burn a 20 minute video and the compiling took 2 hours while the actual burning took 3 minutes. The hardware tech support (LaCie) told me that's pretty normal and I should quit out of other apps to let the CPU do its thing, is that so? Does this mean that compiling a 2 hour video's gonna take me 6 hours? Any insight will be appreciated. Thanks!

what apps do u use? what's the source of the video? I can tell you that if you burn the dvd from an already compiled one (meaning a video_ts directory with IFO and VOB files) it really shouldn't take that much time...
With all due respect... and there is respect...
